Little Lights Charity Padel Tournament
Community Comes Together to Make Every Rally Count at Little Lights Charity Padel Tournament
Players, supporters and local businesses came together for a fantastic day of padel and fundraising at the first (but not last) Little Lights Padel Tournament, raising vital funds to support babies, children and families.
Held at Velocity Padel in Widnes, the event welcomed players from all levels, united by one shared goal: helping to ensure that every family cared for by Little Lights receives the support they need, when they need it most.
Throughout the day, the courts were filled with friendly competition, laughter and determination as teams competed across throughout the day. Off the court, supporters enjoyed tasty treats, courtesy of Guilt Free Fuel, a fundraising raffle with some amazing prizes donated by Montirex and the Padel Place as well as the opportunity to learn more about the difference their generosity makes to local families.
Thanks to the incredible support of everyone involved, every pound goes towards helping Little Lights continue to provide expert palliative care, respite, symptom management, end-of-life care and bereavement support for children with life-limiting conditions and those who love them.
More Than a Sporting Event
For Little Lights, events like the Padel Tournament are about far more than the final score.
Every team that entered, every raffle ticket purchased, every sponsorship secured and every donation made represents another opportunity to help families spend precious time together, create lasting memories and receive specialist care in a warm, welcoming environment.
The generosity shown throughout the day is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared purpose.
Rebecca Roberts, Corporate Fundraiser said:
"We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported our first Padel Tournament. The enthusiasm from players, Krol Corlett and applied Nutrition, our sponsors, and all the supporters on the day was simply incredible.
The funds raised will have a real and lasting impact on the families we care for, helping us continue providing specialist services that are only possible because of the generosity of our community. We cannot thank everyone enough for making the day such a success."
Thank You
Events like this simply wouldn't be possible without the kindness and generosity of so many people.
Thank you once again to every team and every supporter who chose to spend the day with us. We hope you'll join us again next time as we continue to grow this fantastic event and, together, help brighten the lives of even more local families.
