Renaming Competition
Last year, the future of Liverpool Zoe’s Place was uncertain. When the lease on the hospice’s building came to an end, the community came together in an extraordinary show of solidarity to help secure a new beginning.
Same Heart, Fresh Start: Becoming Little Lights Baby Hospice
Thanks to the public’s incredible support, we’re now proud to stand as an independent charity, still offering the same expert care, the same loving environment and the same unwavering commitment to our families. But with independence comes change, we must now evolve our identity, starting with a new name.
That’s where the Same Heart, Fresh Start campaign began.
We invited the public to help us shape the next chapter by entering our public competition to rename the hospice and design a new mascot. Hundreds of creative, heartfelt entries poured in and we were so excited to reveal the winning name live on stage at our M&S Bank Arena concert in July.
The winning name, entered by Amelia, 9, is Little Lights Baby Hospice.
This moment marked a fresh start. A celebration of everything Liverpool Zoe’s Place has been and everything we believe it can be.
We’re not just changing a name.
We’re building a future. Together.
We are currently working behind the scenes on our new name branding and can’t wait for us to officially be Little Lights Baby Hospice - make sure to keep an eye on our socials or sign up to our mailing list to be updated with the change over!
